We got to make our own Menu for Christmas. We could choose anything to put on it and we could decorate it.

Bird Ball Balls

For Oral language we presented our bird feeder designs. First we went off with Shirley to make bird balls. Next we` hung them up. When we checked them this morning some of them were gone. We needed to put some of the bird balls in higher places so people wouldn’t get them.

Athletics Mayhem

On Athletics day we went to Bledisloe Domain to do lots of events. The event that I won was Discus. My favourite event was the long jump. The event that was the worst for me was the shot put. The schools that went were Kawakawa, Karetu, Moutou, Maromaku and Bay College. Bay College came to help do the events and help us.

Caring for cute Birds

This morning we read a story about caring for birds. After we finished reading it we had to rewrite the story into a procedure. I hope you enjoy reading mine.

Boring World. More like the Best World

When we went to Action World it was fun because there were lots of things to play on. My favourite ride was the inflatable slide that you could go down on. I only went on the biggest slide because it was the most INTENSE and the small one would not be as fun as the other one.

PET DAY MADDNES

Last Friday it was Pet Day. There were millions of pets there, my favourite one was Isaiah’s Rottweiler. We also did other stuff like sand saucers and vaseline saucers too. Here’s a photo of Isaiah’s Rottweiler.

Universe of Maths

My favourite activity was the one when you have some shapes and you had to try and put them all in a shape. I liked it because it challenges my brain and I like that type of stuff.

The activity that was difficult for me was the Hexagon Haunt. Because you had three  letters and one red hexagon. You had to try fit all the hexagons in the big frame but the red one on each letter.

The World of Maths had the most fun activities ever.

Best Procedural writing story i the World

These are my Procedural writing story's about toast. The teacher had to act it out and our first one had some mistakes so we had to retype it and this is what I came up with.
The thing I was learning about this type of writing is you needed a goal, material or equipment and steps.
The language features we needed to use in the story was present tense verbs.

The thing I learnt with Narratives is there is always a problem and solution. What I also learned about Narratives is the structure of it too.I need to improve in Narrative writing Speech Marks (Commas), Onomatopoeia, Exclamation Marks and Alliteration.

This is my amazing gloop Google Drawing. We did a Flow Diagram and we also had to do the science behind it. The science behind the gloop is first it’s a liquid then it changes into a solid.
