Food Chain Animation

Last term in Te Ngahere we created animations to explain how food chains work. We had to screencastify the animations and present them to the class. I enjoyed creating my animation and watching others. Next time I could focus on using more expression in my movie to make it more exciting.

Kia ora Izaiah it’s Isaiah, really like your blog post about your food chains. My Favorited part is when you added the corned beef in to it. I think you did well at doing your animation because your voice was nice and clear.

About me

Hello, I’m Izaiah. I am a year 8 student who attends Paihia Primary School. I am part Maori, part Samoan and lives in a house of four which includes my oldest sister, Grandpa, Grandma and myself.

To be honest I don’t necessarily like any subjects but I have to do each of them to get a good education and achieve the goals I’m aiming for. Although, I do enjoy math and writing only because I’m fairly decent at both of those subjects. I’m challenged by the writing subject, only because It’s hard for me to find different varieties of vocabulary and language features to make my writing interesting.

This year I’m looking forward to learning more advanced strategies for both math and writing. My life goal/dream is to be able to craft weapons, mainly guns. I first thought of this goal when I started to watch weapon review videos. I was just interested in the way weapons work and the history of each weapon. My inspirations are my mother and my grandmother. I’m very inspired by the way they can stand there ground and have enough courage to do things many others can’t.
